The Colleges Against
Cancer Entertainment Committee is
responsible for planning and organizing the events (DJ, performers,
bands,
games) for the night of Relay, as well as handling the logistical
concerns for
the evening. In the past, this
committee has brought in student
organizations such as Vocal AmUNItion, Capoeira, UNI Dance team, Spirit
Squad,
Half Masted, some athletic teams, bands, and many more, to perform at
the
event. Some popular
activities the
Entertainment Committee has planned in the past are: jousting, sumo
wrestling, a
frozen t-shirt contest, a Root beer pong tournament, Minute to Win It,
and a
dance party! If your organization or
band is interested in performing at
Relay For Life of UNI, please contact Kayleigh Green, Robin Lacquement,
or
Lindsey Meskimen, for more information. The Entertainment
Committee has also assisted with Colleges
Against Cancer fundraisers by organizing “Skee-Brall” for the
Breastical
Festival held at ICE and The Hub and in planning a fundraiser for
childhood
